What kind of country do we want to hand over to our children ?  

A country that we are proud of!

Israel is known to the entire world as the sole democracy in the Middle East. This is truly something to be proud of, as accomplishing this was no small feat for a little country surrounded by hostile neighbors, and a world full of naysayers.  The progress Israel has made over the past 50 years is astounding; science, technology, literature, existing policies and the arts, all important advancements of this modern growing society.

But honesty and straightforwardness is also an important trait that Israel prides itself on.  And when a change needs to be made; when something in our growing country is not as it should be, we are the first to admit to it. 

What it all boils down to is Social Finance.  As it stands now, it is extremely difficult for small businesses in Israel to succeed.  The Government is simply not built towards this effect.  This is why we need a restructuring from the inside, out.  Real changes need to be made in order for the country to evolve into one which encourages and helps its citizens to prosper and succeed in the area of business.  This is the root of the problem, the one thing that is crucial to the successful development of our country, and if allowed to continue along its current destructive path, the consequences will be unbearable and possibly irreparable. 

For example, there are many old tax bylaws which need to be changed, and should have been changed years ago.  Many of them are no longer applicable today, but they are left as they are, untouched, and  continue to affect each person who owns a business.  America Kan, together with the help of our lawyers, will work on making the important changes to these bylaws, effectively eliminating months of red tape and hassle for the business owner.  

Perhaps we were distracted in the past, ignoring this problem for valid reasons.  However, there is no longer time to let it fester any longer.  It’s about the health of our home and hearth, and if not addressed soon, we fear that the issue will grow even beyond our control. 

America Kan, which literally means, “America Here,” will be the solution to this ever-growing problem.  Being in the Knesset, and electing our own minister, gives us a real voice and the ability to make the changes we need.
